Post-Grad

Life after graduating college hasn’t been exactly what I pictured. I thought I would fall into a full-time job no problem and already be taking the world of sports by storm - not quite what happened. Since graduating I’ve been working part-time at Orangetheory and at the Suns in guest services. While this isn’t what I’d imagined I would be doing post-graduation, I’ve been having a great time!

My first day at the Suns was spent working Game 5 of the NBA Finals and it was amazing! Since I’m in guest services I spent my shift directing guests and answering questions while also getting to watch the game. It was fun getting to experience the energy that the Suns’ fans brought to the arena.

Game 5 reminded me why I want to work in sports - I love sports and the community they create. Everyone I interacted with was so excited to be there to support the Suns and you could feel their passion from the game’s start to finish. While every game is important, the fans make each second of them that much sweeter (I’m sure we all can agree, especially with the last year or so spent with fan-free sporting events).
